The Földi College provides MLD/CDT Certification Courses as well as MLD/CDT Review Courses and Clinic workshops.   The aim is to provide comprehensive, scientifically based theoretical and practical training in the field of Manual lymphatic Drainage / Complete Decongestive therapy (MLD/CDT), culminating in a recognised qualification.

Teaching is provided by specialist doctors and professional instructors for MLD/CDT.

Conditions for admission

The following professions are eligible for admission to the courses:  Physiotherapists, massage therapists, registered nurses, doctors and osteopaths. Important: Professional qualifications must be fully completed before commencing  courses at the Földi College. When registering online, please send a copy of your professional qualification (mail or fax) to the Földi College.

The Földi College reserves the right to decide on admission to the training courses. Admission can not take place when the conditions for admission are not fully fulfilled, or when evidence is available that, having been verified, would provide grounds for a refusal of permit.

Confirmation

Upon complete attendance each participant receives a confirmation at the end of the week.

Course fees

The course fees for the one-week Clinic workshop are 950 Euro. The amount has to be paid 3weeks before the program starts.

Right of Notice

Short-term notice of cancellation within 2 weeks of commencement of the course is only possible for important reasons (accidents, sudden-onset disease etc.)

Should notice of cancellation be received later than 2 weeks before the course commences, 50% of the course fee will be due as compensation to the Földi College. By failure to attend or premature termination the full course fee is to be paid.

Cancellation of courses

The Földi College reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient participant numbers or the illness of a teacher. Participants will be informed as soon as possible, at the very latest 2 weeks before the commencement date.

Further information

Professional clothing (such as white pant or white shirt) is mandatory since we are in contact with patients.

Waiver & Non-disclosure

Intellectual property:

Photography, video and audio recordings as well as the use of mobile phones in the Földi Clinic are not allowed.

The attendee agrees that all information about patients obtained during the program have to be treated confidentially. All course material is protected intellectual property of the Földi College. Copies, replications und use for own economical purposes will be prosecuted.

Non-Disclosure:

The attendee agrees not to copy any material supplied to me during the course without the express written permission from the author(s). He understands that he may share the obtained knowledge with other professionals but never, under any circumstances, train or certify any other individual in the course topic.

Waiver:

The attendee will be participating in a training program of the Földi College / Földi Clinic for the purpose of reviewing his knowledge and skills in regards to lymphedema treatment. He releases the instructor and teaching assistants of the Földi College and holds them harmless from any and all liability, claims, damages, actions and cause of action whatsoever for loss, damages or injury to persons or property.

He further agrees to disclose all of his physical and medical conditions, limitations and sensitivities and agrees to release and hold the instructor and teaching assistanst of the Földi College, harmless from any liability, claims, damages, actions and causes of action in any way relating to or arising from said conditions, limitations or sensitivities.

He expressly agrees that all instruction and use of all facilities and equipment shall be undertaken at his own risk, and that he is physically and medically able to undertake any instructions provided.

Photography/Video Consent:

The Földi College may wish to take your photograph/make a video recording of you for promotional purposes. These images may appear on our promotional materials and/or on our website. We will not use the images taken, or any other information you provide, for any other purpose. We will also not include personal information such as full names, email or personal addresses on our printed publications or website. Therefore, we kindly ask you for your permission before we take any photographs or recordings of you. By signing this form you agree that images may be used in accordance with the terms above.

Any additional details provided in the next section will only be used for teaching purposes during this training course information provided is for the instructor to assess whether certain practical participation would affect any conditions that you may have had or been treated for recently. Information will be kept confidential. If you have any concerns during the course about whether a practical part of the course could affect an existing or previous condition, please ask the instructor.
